The Patriots And The NFL Are Working "Back Channel Conversations" To Resolve Deflategate

Would love to take a look at these “back-channel conversations” because if I had to guess it’s Goodell grovelling at Kraft’s feet while he begs for forgiveness through tears. At least I hope that’s what it is. I hope Kraft isn’t agreeing to reduced punishments so everyone can get back to focusing on football. I’m blood thirsty now. I don’t want Brady to take a game or two because everyone is sick of dealing with the headache of Deflategate. I want this shit to go all the way to the Supreme Court. I want Goodell’s head on a stake next to Eddard Stark. I obviously trust Kraft and the Patriots with my life and am totally confident they’ll do whatever they think is best for the success of the club, but I’d like to see some bodies hit the floor. Maybe agree to less harsh penalties as long as Rog also agrees to make Kensil be Kraft’s butler or something like that.

PS – If Goodell handed down the harsh penalty to prove to other owners that he could drop the hammer on his friend then taking those punishments away through “back-channel conversations” proooooobably isn’t going to look great.
