The Golden State Warriors Are NBA Champions

Well it’s official, for the fifth time in franchise history the Golden State Warriors have won the NBA Championship. A truly impressive feat that I don’t think many saw coming when Kevin Durant joined a 73 win team so kudos to them. We all hoped for the series to keep going, there was no way the NBA would let CLE lose we thought, but what we were ignoring was the fact that Golden State does not lose back to back games. They had a three game losing streak in early March, but that’s it. At the end of the day there was too much Durant, Curry took 15 FTs and the Cavs role players turned back into role players. Remember, Lebron hand picked those scrubs.

Say what you want about KD taking the easy way out to his first title, but you can’t deny he earned this ring with his play this Finals. Nothing too shabby about 39/6/5 while shooting 14-20 in a closeout game. The Cavs did their best to prevent it, but as we’ve learned over the last three years, you cannot stop the Warriors three bukkake. Iggy hitting threes outta no where, KD hitting five, hell the Warriors scored 129 points and Curry made just two threes! There isn’t a team in the NBA that can absorb that type of firepower and for that reason the Warriors are champs for the second time in three years.

I thought when the series started that I wanted CLE to win for the chaos it would cause, but now that Lebron has lost another Finals I am reminded how sweet those Lebron tears are. Give them to me, they are delicious.

Now I’ll see everyone in like 2021 when the Warriors stop winning titles. Goodnight basketball for the 2017 season, you were awesome.
