The Celtics Need To Get The Hell Out Of Washington Immediately
OK I’ve seen enough. Get me the hell out of Washington. Four games, four blowouts. I don’t know what it is, but road teams refuse to win when these two teams play. It looked as if the Celtics were going to spoil that trend, they finally got off to a pretty good start, and then that third quarter happened. A brutal 26-0 run (!!!!) with 19 points coming off turnovers. For some reason, in this building, the Celtics can’t help but shit their pants. That much is clear now.
Once again in this series, the Celtics got comfortable, they played soft, Washington got momentum and the Celtics mentally caved. They went back to the do nothing but chuck threes and turn it over strategy, one that rarely works out for them. Where were the adjustments? Where were the timeouts? Where the FUCK was Jaylen?
As we now turn to Game 5, I don’t think it’s a stretch to think this game determines the season. Instead of heading back to Boston up 3-1 and the Wizards on the brink, they are coming to Boston with all the confidence in the world. And really, the Celtics have nobody but themselves to blame. They thew the opportunity to control this series away after getting pretty lucky to be up 2-0 in the first place. It all comes down to Wednesday in my opinion.
