That Was Pathetic...Absolutely Pathetic
So frustrating. I don’t think I’ve seen shooting performances like these at any level in my entire life. And I watch a lot of basketball. For the 4th time this series they did exactly what they shouldn’t have done. It’s bullshit, and almost inexcusable. The Celtics took their biggest advantage (the crowd) right out of the game to start by continuing to shoot three after three. And spare me the “they were getting blocked” argument. That has nothing to do with Sullinger taking threes, Turner taking threes, and basically not running any resemblance of an offense whatsoever like a bunch of fucking assholes. Absolutely PATHETIC. Sorry, I’m a little upset. Why they went away from what worked in Game 3 and 4 I’ll never know. Sure the Hawks made adjustments to stop Isaiah in the P&R, but that in no way means you have to take nothing but threes. In fact, the way the Celtics played in each of their 4 losses was unlike any way they played all season. What the hell is that about?
Overall, obviously it was a great season and all that shit and I’ll have a full breakdown in the coming days, but shit man, they had this series and they shot themselves right out of it. Brutal. At the end of the day losing Avery proved to be just as huge as we all feared it would be. Sucks this group didn’t get a shot to make a run fully healthy, but thats sports and the Celts are by no means the only one dealing with it. Sigh, at this point I feel like I’m just rambling so I’ll end it here.
