Ted Cruz Could Learn A Lot About How To Lose With Class From Cam Newton

Republican National Convention: Day Three

Never saw this take coming folks. Theres a cottage industry of folks out there cranking out lazy half baked Cam Newton takes about how he could learn alot from other about how to handle losing with class. Cams preening, selfish, arrogant personalty rubs people the wrong way. But the tables have been turned and the student has become the teacher after Ted Cruzs shameless vulgar display of me-first politics at the RNC last night as the 2nd place finisher.

Both Cruz  and Cam put their names on things that they had no intention of keeping- one was a pledge, and the other a laptop. And as soon as it looked like things were going south, those signatures literally went out the window. Both came in second in the largest contests of 2016. And both lost to a guy who has been under constant scrutny from Al Jazeera. But when Cam Newton singlehandedly lost the championship, he didn’t get up on stage and throw Ted Ginn under the bus, and even if he had tried, it would of probably missed its target. For all the grief Cam has rightfully and justly receved for not speaking with very powerful reporters after the Superbowl, it showed more class to not say a word than if he had opened his mouth and said the wrong ones.

Ted Cruz should of made a business decision and endorsed Trump. Just like Cam Newton decided not to jump on that ball in the Superbowl, and it ensured he would be back for another shot at a title. Cruz let his emotions get the best of him, and he suffred the political equivlant of a ACL/MCL/Kneecap dislocation/Compound fracture by refusing to play ball. He had aspiratons to run again next election, but after this speech, the only 2020 that Cruz will be pursuing comes in a glass bottle at the worst gas station in town. I guess he was all butthurt about the fact that Trump said that his dad had something to do with the JFK assassination for some reason. It used to be that being related to someone who assassinated world leaders actually made you more likely to be Presdent. But along with the pussification of America, Cruz took it personal. George W Bush on the other hand, embraced his fathers work and rode that cutthroat record all the way to back-to-back Presidential victories.

Newtons father was under investgation for a while too, but you didn’t see him making a big ordeal about it . When you’ve been accused of breaking the law a million times you start to tune that stuff out, and hes a better man for it.

Also Cruz took so much offense from the fact that Trump kept insinuating that his wife is ugly. It was clearly almost a joke, but it got under Ted’s skin anyways. Newton, on the other hand knows that no one can make fun of your wife if your not married. Next level thinking on his part.

And overnight, some signifcant changes had been made:

In conclusion, you can say what you want about Cam Newton, but he would of never smade a big speech to announce what a sore loser he is. Better to keep your mouth shut and have people assume your churlish than it is to open your mouth and confirm it.
