A couple quick things. Lots of people have thanked me for this doing this donation thing or giving me credit. And while nobody loves taking credit for shit more than I do (IE – inventing Jenna Marbles, Guess That Ass, The Internet) in this case I deserve no recognition. This is 100% the Stoolies. People keep asking me if I’m surprised how much money the Stoolies raised so quickly and I’m honestly not. I would have been surprised if we didn’t. I know how awesome our readers are. I know they get it. Every single time I’ve expected the Stoolies to rise to the occasion they have. This is no different. And probably like me you’re just shrugging your shoulders about it. I mean this was a no brainer. Had to be done. Like okay shit happened, time to step it up and help people who need it. It’s a reflection of the overall website and why I always scoff at people who make fun of us. Yeah we like to have fun and laugh and make fun of shit and we’ll save treating things like life and death situations for events like Monday.
