Scary Scene In Montreal As Boychuk Is Evacuated Off The Ice And To The Hospital

Scary scene in Montreal with Boychuk on a real weird play. Obviously a penalty, but not one of those egregious ones that make you throw your remote across the room and scream at the TV. Nonetheless, you could tell Boychuck was in a lot of pain right away (this didn’t stop the ever respectable Montreal fans from booing and hissing the immediate penalty replay), and he’s no sissy, so you know it’s serious. Already been a lot of injuries on the blue line this year, so you hope this is a situation that just ends up looking worse than it is, but the fact that he’s already at a hospital doesn’t facilitate those thoughts.

PS – Seeing Chara and Lucic help get his body off the ice is eerie. Gladiator type shit.

B’s said he had full movement in all limbs and his family Tweeted that he called and said he’d be OK. Also said they’ve put worse beatings on him.
