I work at an internet marketing firm and thought your line about the education/income level of readership was interesting, so I did some digging on Alexa.com.

Pretty cut and dry. Barstool is mostly employed college educated males, while boston.com’s readership is made up of mostly uneducated.

Pres don’t lie. Never have.  Never will.  Of all the digs people take at Barstool, guys like Roberto Scalese trying to make it seem like our readership is all pre-pubecent boys looking for porn is the biggest lie going.  The truth is relatively speaking we have a highly educated, high income audience.   The Globe for the most part has dummies.  That’s why guys like Roberto Scalese is perfect for them.  He’s not smart enough to do better and none of their readers are smart enough to know better.  Hey Roberto…If you come at the king you best not miss.
