Omaha City Councilman In Hot Water For Holding A Tshirt Featuring Political Rival On A Stripper Pole

Wowt – A photo involving an Omaha City Council member is creating a lot of controversy. In the photo, Chris Jerram holds a photo depicting his fellow council member, Jean Stothert, on a stripper pole. Jerram apologized and said he made a mistake. “It’s disgusting, and it’s demeaning, and it’s not only demeaning to me, but to all women,” said Stothert on Monday. “You know, to be depicted of the way I was on that t-shirt should not happen.” The shirt reads “Jean, quit stripping us of our tax dollars” — and it has a woman and stripper pole next to it. Oh, and you will note that the shirt Jerram displays is by “Suck My Private Sector”.

This is a total non story and I’ll tell you why.

#1 – The shirt has real political commentary. It’s not like it just displayed her as a stripper for no reason. It was sending a message. “Quit stripping us of our tax dollars brought to you by Suck My Private Sector” Both are well played political puns. Totally fair game in my book.

#2 – The stripper looks exactly like this lady. Cougar city.

#3 – All chicks sneaky want to be strippers and sluts. I don’t care what they say. So no chance Jean Stothert isn’t sneaky turned on by this shirt. She’s just pretending to be pissed to get votes. But deep down in places she doesn’t talk about at parties she’s like “Still Got It Jeanny! Still Got it! Work that shit!”
