Not To Make Excuses For Johnny Football But It's All Bron Bron's Fault

NFL – Finally today, with the most fanfare of any rookie in the 2014 class, Johnny Manziel will make his first NFL start. Of course, when Manziel takes the field today against the Bengals, celebrity follows. Manziel’s business partners and agents Erik Burkhardt and Maverick Carter share a suite at FirstEnergy Stadium, and Cavs star LeBron James is expected to be with them watching the debut of his buddy, Johnny Football. The four-time NBA MVP even had a message of encouragement for Manziel on Sunday morning, tweeting “Best of luck to my lil brother @jmanziel2 on making his 1st start today. Let’s Go!!”

I’m sure all the haters will come out of the woodwork after today’s debacle saying Manziel’s career is already a failure.  That I was totally wrong about this guy.  The Paul LoDuca’s of the world saying I told you so blah, blah, blah.    Listen it’s only 1 game.  It means nothing.  Sure he could have done better than throwing for negative infinity yards, never crossing midefield, and having the worst QB performance in the history of the NFL, but like I said it’s only 1 game.  Having said that it’s time to talk about the elephant in the room.   I’m obviously talking about the unholy alliance of Johnny Football and Bron Bron.   Like no joke I think shirts like these are 96% responsible for why Manziel sucked today.  Bron Bron is just rubbing his bad mojo all over JFF.   That’s the fucking problem.   As long as Bron Bron tries to make this about him and is attached at the hip to Manziel he is doomed.   Maybe Bron Bron can win in Miami with his primadonna attitude, but not in a blue collar town like Cleveland.  He’s just everything that Cleveland isn’t and it shows.  Nobody can succeed with that albatross around his neck.  Nobody.  Not even Johnny Football.
