A huge, athletic D tackle who can immediately step in and fill Vince Wilfork’s shoes (a 5.05 40 at 320 pounds is gross. So gross it’s basically exactly what Wilfork did. He did 5.08 at 323). A gap-filling, run-stopper seems like the kind of guy that, oh I don’t know, the Colts could’ve used at pick 30. But, they’re the Colts so they took a wide receiver even though that’s basically the only position they have zero need at. Ryan Grigson decided that the most glaring hole separating the Patriots and Colts atop the AFC didn’t need filling, instead he wanted another weapon for Andrew Luck. So Bill had to swoop in, make the smart choice and take the best value pick, maybe the best overall pick, at 32. God it’s fucking good to be us. See everyone at the Super Bowl in San Fran.
