Nike Clarifies That Their Tiger Woods Ad Saying "Winning Takes Care Of Everything" Refers To Only Athletic Accomplishments

I hate Tiger, but this whole thing with people freaking out about this new Tiger ad is hilarious.  Big Cat had a great take on it.  So rather than reinvent the wheel here it is…

Love this ad. I want the old cocky/winning Tiger back so bad. The one that dominates everyone. I want that guy. Not the guy who wins a couple of meaningless tournaments in January and February and then has Sportscenter run hours of “Is Tiger Back” stories only to have him choke in the majors. The guy that pretends to be “sorry” and wants to be “humble”. Fuck that guy. Give me Red shirt Sunday Tiger that strikes fear in the hearts of his opponent. That yells at people on the course for taking pictures. The guy that is just as comfortable at an Orlando Hooters as he is on the 18th Green at Augusta. Because this ad is right. No one gives a fuck about prostitutes and golden showers and blasian 3somes when you win. They just care about the win. And that’s the Tiger I want to see.

By the way, I HATE that Nike had to make a statement clarifying this ad because the PC police are freaking out about it.

“Tiger has always said he competes to win. When asked about his goals such as getting back to #1, he has said consistently winning is the way to get there. The statement references that sentiment and is a salute to his athletic performance.”

Fuck that bullshit. I may be dumb but I’m not stupid. This is about Tiger’s insatiable sexual hunger for porn stars. Nothing more, nothing less.
