Michigan Stinks. The Patriots Played Like Stink....Huge Difference

So just like clockwork the talking heads are crucifying the Pats today. Mike Giardi asking Bill Belichick if the Pats have a QB controversy. Chiefs fans literally face fucking us in the crowd. Felger and Maz asking how many points are we going to lose to the Bengals by next week. KFC saying the AFC East is up for grabs. I guess it’s all fair game after last night’s debacle, but per usual I’m sticking with the company line.  It’s not what you look like in week 4, but rather week 14 that matters. That’s I’ve watched Belichick and Brady for far too long to jump shit in September.  That I’m not remotely worried.   That the AFC East is ours.

Naturally people are saying I’m a Homer blah, blah, blah. That I’m just looking at this through rose colored glasses. That the fact me and Bill Belichick are best friends is clouding my judgment. Well I want to clarify something. I’m not a homer. I’m not wearing my heart on my sleeve. I’m a pragmatist. The bottomline is I give them the benefit of the doubt in these situations because they haven’t’ had a losing season this century. You don’t have 11 straight double digit win seasons by accident. They’ve had plenty of ugly early season losses and Belichick always figures it out. There is no reason to believe he won’t figure it out again. That’s why I just laugh at everybody who acts like the Titanic is sinking. No it’s not. This ship doesn’t sink. It’s impenetrable. The Patriots are playing stinky football right now but they don’t stink and the results will speak for themselves when it’s all said and done.

Now on the flip side Michigan stinks. They won’t figure it out. They are a disgrace to college football. I can admit that. I understand that. I’m not sitting here saying Michigan will win the Big 10. That’s what people who call me a Homer don’t understand. I evaluate everything on an individual basis regardless of my rooting interests. The Patriots are playing stinky. Michigan is stinky. Anybody with a brain should see the difference.
