Everyone desires wealth and power. It’s what we all want more than anything in the world. We have fantastical dreams about making phone calls to world leaders while smoking cigars lit by $100 bills and sitting in rooms with beautifully finished wood as far as the eye can see. But even I’ve never imagined a scenario like this. “I sat backstage, as a special guest of a wildly popular television show, with famous actors and United Nations ambassadors. While sitting there I made a trade for one of the best point guards in basketball, whose acquisition puts the Dallas Mavericks, a franchise I own because I’m a multi-billionaire, atop the short list of favorites to win the NBA championship.” That’s a sentence someone on this earth gets to say, and it’s all true! Think of all the stories you hear told at cocktail parties. Maybe the time someone banged a girl hotter than them, someone had a crazy night of drinking, another guy once climbed a mountain. These are the best stories these people have. They’re the greatest things those ever did, and they don’t even come close to a Mark Cuban Thursday night.
