Margot Robbie As Tanya Harding Is An Insult To God

(Source) The Australian access was spotted on the set of her forthcoming biopic, I, Tonya, about infamous figure skater Tonya Harding, and the results are uncanny. Wearing the most ’90s-looking mom jeans, a blue sweater and a frizzy blond wig, Robbie, 26, looked nearly identical to Harding. Instead of gaining weight in real life, it appears Robbie was fitted with facial prosthetics and a body suit to mimic the appearance of a few extra pounds.

Not to be sexist but if I can just be sexist for a second, female actresses shouldn’t be allowed to do this. Stunningly beautiful female actresses, in particular. I know we, as a society, love to be awed how guys transform their bodies and looks for roles, “Christian Bale just ate an apple and a can of tuna a day for a year for The Machinist,” “Matthew McConaughey lost 40 pounds for Dallas Buyers Club,” “Tom Hardy/Gerard Butler/any actor in an action movie ever did (insert wild workout) for that body!” But, for women, it shouldn’t be allowed. I’m sorry, it just shouldn’t. It’s an affront to god and spits in the face of his masterpiece. You wouldn’t hang a drape over the Mona Lisa, don’t put a fatsuit on Margot Robbie. Don’t hide such beauty, it deprives humanity of seeing works of art that enrich our lives.
