ManFeminist Invents New Barbie Doll Called Lammily That Celebrates The Average Looking Woman
Time – While we might admire Barbie’s career aspirations, the dolls famously unrealistic body proportions (which would force a real woman to walk on all fours… with half a liver) leave a lot to be desired. So artist Nickolay Lamm gained a lot of attention last summer when he showed the world what Barbie would look like if she had the CDC measurements of an average 19-year-old woman’s body. “A lot of people asked where they could buy normal Barbie,” Lamm told TIME. ”But no one could buy it because it didn’t exist.”So rather than just waiting for some other toy company to bring a Barbie with realistic proportions to life, he decided to do it himself. Wednesday, Lamm launched his own Kickstarter of sorts to raise $95,000 to begin production on a doll that has a real woman’s proportions. The line is called Lammily and its tagline is: “Average is beautiful.”
Let’s forget for a second how fucking crazy it is that people treat Barbie like a real person and blab on bout how she wouldn’t be able to walk if she was a human. Those people are the most insane people on earth. Newsflash it’s a doll folks. I’ve already beaten that subject to death. Instead I just want to focus on this Manfeminist trying to say this girl is average looking. Lammily is average? Her tagline is Average is beautiful? Umm on what fucking planet is Lammily average? This chick is a SMOKE! Her face is fucking perfect. She’s got an unreal ass. An absolute brick shithouse. Her and Barbie would be best friends. They’d be the captain of the Mean Girls together. In fact apples to apples I pick Lammily everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. This is my type of chick. Looks like she’s built to fuck. Not like a runway model. So I don’t know who is kidding who here, but if Barbie makes 5 year olds feel bad about themselves then so will Lammily.
