MA Guidelines Saying Schools Have to Let Transgendered Students Use Whatever Bathroom They Want is Working Out as Well as You'd Imagine They Would

MEDFORD (CBS)Schools across Massachusetts are facing new guidelines regarding students and gender identity. …That led to a recent memo from Commissioner of Education Mitchell Chester offering guidance on what the changes mean. In it, schools are required to accept the gender a student recognizes as their own including bathroom and locker room access… Medford Selectman Robert Penta… thinks the guidelines are a misrepresentation of state law and will once again address the issue at a meeting Tuesday night. “If you follow the legislative directive, if you follow the law and if you follow the directive now that Mr. Chester has put out there, they’re not one in the same and that’s the problem,”said Penta. “That’s the problem that I have, the lack of consistency and more importantly I think there is an abuse of the process.”

Leave it to the government of the Commonwealth to make a cluster out of simple matters like who should pee in what bathroom and who should shower in what locker room.  To be clear, if you’re a guy who feels more like yourself wearing a dress or you’re a girl who’d rather get a crew cut and sport flannels and comfortable shoes: Go nuts.  Have a party, on me.  (Well not on me…)  Seriously, knock yourselves out.  Brave men fought and died for your right to follow your rainbow.  But just because you call yourself a girl or a guy doesn’t make you one.  Just like I can go around calling myself Giselle all I want but that doesn’t mean I’m waking up next to Tom Brady tomorrow.   I know Commissioner of Education Mitchell Chester will take this as a hate crime, but it’s not.  It’s simple anatomy.  Better yet, it’s Dictionary.com:

male [meyl] noun 1. a person bearing an X and Y chromosome pair in the cell nuclei and normally having a penis, scrotum, and testicles, and developing hair on the face at adolescence; a boy or man.

fe·male [fee-meyl] noun 1. a person bearing two X chromosomes in the cell nuclei and normally having a vagina, a uterus and ovaries, and developing at puberty a relatively rounded body and enlarged breasts, and retaining a beardless face; a girl or woman.

So Dept. of Ed is ignoring medical science and the dictionary and saying every horny school kid in Massachusetts can define their own gender?  Were none of them ever a teenage boy?  Was Chester never that age where he’d do or say anything for the chance to see naked girls?  Hell, did he never see “Porky’s”?  Pardon me, but if I had a daughter, the last thing I’d want in her school bathrooms/ locker rooms is something that can get her pregnant, thanks.  Hell, as good looking as I was, I wouldn’t have survived a week if all the girls at Weymouth South had to do was say they “identified as males” to get in the shower with me.  So if some guy wants to go run around in the high school girls’ locker room, I’ll need a little more commitment than just him saying he feels like a woman trapped in a man’s body.  Get the operation, get your junk removed, actually become a female, then the girls room is all yours.  But I guess common sense has no place in schools anymore. @JerryThornton1
