Lester Takes Out A Full Page Ad In The Globe Thanking Boston

Look I hate when Pres is right more than anybody. I HATE it. He comes downstairs and just smiles at me and doesn’t say anything but  knows that he called it, it’s for real the worst shit I’ve ever experienced. But I’m leaning towards agreeing with him that Lester is coming back now. I think the Sox will make him a fair offer. I think the Yankees will blow it out of the water with an extra year or two and an extra 30 million, but I’m starting to think he might leave that on the table. Call me crazy, call me a hopeless romantic, but I think he might do it. Everything he’s said tells me that he’s got enough hate in his heart to say “NO!” to the Yankees as long as he gets to come home.
