Introducing NESN's Newest On-Air Personality... Kacie McDonnell

Well, well, well…. look at NESN making moves! I don’t believe it’s clear exactly what she’ll be doing, whether it’s in-studio on NESN Sports Today or more sideline stuff for the Sox and Bruins, but safe to say this is an excellent hire. Awesome chick, smart chick, funny chick…. oh yeah, and I guess she’s not exactly hard on the eyes. Been a little while since NESN made waves and used their brain to put a smoke on camera (sorry, Gary, still love you) but it looks like they’re finally coming to their senses. Now all they need to do is get rid of the in-booth guests and put Eck on every broadcast and I’d go so far as to say they’re the smartest network ever.

PS – If I didn’t know any better, I might think that Kacie was just waiting for me to get out of Boston before she decided to come to NESN. Really missed an opportunity to become a media power couple there. Sure, I guess there are guys like Jimmy G who might be worth locking down, but I feel like that’s small potatoes to a smut blogger/NESN on-air duo. When you control the media you control…. information. That’s nothing to shake a stick at.
