I Miss Paul Pierce and KG So Much Right Now It Hurts

TORONTO — A frustrated Paul Pierce felt the Brooklyn Nets were “a soft team” on defense and in the paint during a 100-95 Game 2 loss Tuesday at Toronto. But Kevin Garnett believes there will be nothing soft about the Brooklyn crowd when the Nets return to the Barclays Center for Games 3 and 4 of the best-of-seven first-round series. “We know it’s going to be a rowdy environment, like it should be,” Garnett said. “I don’t know if you can say ‘F Brooklyn’ and then come into Brooklyn. So we’re about to see what it’s like.”

I’m not gonna lie. Watching Paul Pierce and KG in the playoffs without me hurts. It’s only game 3 and they are already doing vintage Paul Pierce and KG stuff. KG attacking the Rapters GM and riling up the home crowd in the process. Pierce calling the Nets soft. It’s everything you expect from these two when they get in the playoffs. Pure Grit and Balls. Sure they need a cane to walk out of the tunnel and Pierce missed like every shot he took last night, but they are still turning this 7 game series into WWIII and a personal battle of wills. I fucking miss it like hell. I’d die for these two in the playoffs. Let’s go Nets!
