I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a show. Outdoor concerts and summer go hand in hand. They’re the greatest things in the word. And every summer around here we get some great ones. Country Fest, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Jay-Z and JT last summer alone… all were awesome. Well, Billy Joel at Fenway is going to fucking smoke those. If you don’t love Billy Joel then you’ve got something wrong with you. Probably the greatest entertainer in history. Downeaster Alexa, For The Longest Time, We Didn’t Start The Fire, Uptown Girl, It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me, Only the Good Die Young… BANGERS. All of them. BANGERS. So yeah, I’m pretty excited for this. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased tickets on the day they come out but I promise you, come February 8th I will be waiting for these things to go on sale with bated breath.
