Mirror- You know the feeling – it’s a rainy Sunday and the thoughts of getting up and going out are just too much to take. So you order a takeaway from JustEat – sorted. But what if you have another errand to run? This customer didn’t just want his dinner delivered, he also asked the driver for an extra favour. The comment box on JustEat gives the option for orders to be personalised – so this customer wanted the FIFA 14 game and a Playstation 3 controller collected from a separate address. And the Mekong Chinese in Santry, Republic of Ireland. were happy to oblige. Video game and takeaway – what more can you ask for?

Love it.  Maybe my favorite story of the day/week/month/ever.  As a person who orders Chinese food (number redacted) times a week I can appreciate a nice and courteous delivery man.  I’ve had every type of delivery man at my door step.  Chatty ones, rude ones, nice ones, quiet ones, ones who peek in to see what you’re watching on TV, ones won’t look you in the eye because they know the meal you ordered could feed 8 but you’re the only one home, etc, etc.  But I’ve never had one bring stuff I needed from a friend’s house.  That’s the best delivery man on the planet.  Just when you think the world is going to hell in a hand basket a member of the human race does something like this and totally redeems us.  A nice reminder that the world isn’t completely shit.  Chinese food and you also now don’t have to get up, get in your car and drive all the way to your friend’s house and then drive all the way back?  That’s the perfect day.  I’m a heterosexual male but I wouldn’t have hesitated to kiss that delivery man right on the mouth when I saw him carrying Fifa ’14 and the extra controller.  What a guy.

PS- This dude was stoned out of his mind, wanted Chinese food and just put that video game request on the order just to see what would happen, right?  Had to be.  That had to make the surprise even better.  Nothing worse than having to venture out into the world after smoking multiple bowls.  Way too much of a hassle.
