Not a great look for Russian airport security here but then again don’t think we had great perceptions of them to begin with? Kinda reminds me of UAE airport security. Went to Dubai/Abu Dhabi a few years ago to visit a chick (long story) and when I flew out their airport security was legit just two dudes in street clothes holding AK-47s next to like a 30-year-old metal detector. Didn’t have to put my bag down or take out my laptop or anything, just walked right through as I was and they were like “yep perfect looks good.” 95% sure the metal detector wasn’t even plugged in.
In Russian security’s defense here not really sure how you stop a car? They were so close so many damn times but this driver was incredible. Super talented. Weaving in and out of barriers, 3-point-turning around railings, squeezing through glass doorways while hugging both sides. Phenomenal driving.
Tough look for this dude who bit HARD on the car’s head fake.
Act like you’ve chased a sedan through the airport for me one time. Lines and delays and just generally dealing with other human beings is bad enough, but in Russia you gotta watch out for automobiles barreling through the terminal. Russia gonna Russia.
