UK – A MARRIED teaching assistant who performed sex acts on a teenage pupil on a flight home from a school trip has been jailed for over two years.
Jill Meldrum-Jones, 37, was “consumed with lust” over the 15-year-old boy.
The mum-of-two met the pupil at the secondary school in Warwickshire.
A court heard the pair became close during a school trip to South Africa last year and started going for walks alone together.
She first performed a sex act on the boy on a minibus which also had other pupils on while they were on the way back from a day trip. …
She then performed oral sex on the boy and “encouraged him” to perform acts on her at a “secluded spot” when they were alone together the next day.
Meldrum-Jones also masturbated the boy three times and performed oral sex three times “under the cover of darkness” on the 10-hour flight back to England days later.
A court heard the teaching assistant also sent the teenager “highly sexualised” messages once they were back in the UK but there was no more physical contact.
Just when I thought I’d seen everything there was to see in the Sex Scandal Teacher game, along comes Jill Meldrum-Jones to boldly go where no teacher has gone before.
In all my years in this business, I’ve see SSTs do it with their students in parking lots, classrooms, field trips, cheap motels in the middle of prom, and even their own parents’ houses. But to my knowledge, never has anyone taken it to 30,000 feet. This pioneering visionary has done something no one had ever imagined: Combined the noble traditions of irresponsible sex with a student and the Mile High Club.

Looks: Someone Tweeted to me that Mrs. Meldrum-Jones looks a little like Margaret McPoyle. That’s pretty harsh. But I will concede she’s not one of your great lookers. In a place like the great Sex Scandal Teacher state of Florida, she’d probably not get a 15-year-old to look at her. But by British standards she’s not bad. Moral Compass/Bad Judgment: How can you not reward this level of determination? Back in the summer I was flying home from Alaska and got stuck on the tarmac for four hours, and all I could do was watch the abomination that was “Batman vs. Superman.” Jill went and made history. Minibus sex. Plane sex. Handjibbers. Blow jibbers. I’ll quibble a little bit with the fact that she only took care of him six times, because at 15 the kid probably had a good half dozen more in him. But I don’t see any other teachers making that Johannesburg-to-Heathrow trip so special.

Intangibles: She’s the Amelia Earhart of Teacher Sex. Except how and where Jill went down in a plane is no mystery.
