Grading the Newest Sex Scandal Teacher

Utah – Courtney Louise Jarrell, a former math teacher and sophomore girls’ basketball coach at Riverton High School in Utah, has been accused of raping a student. Jarrell, 22, was charged Friday in 3rd District Court with rape and forcible sexual abuse… Court documents show that in February and March, Jarrell allegedly had illegal sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl who attends the school. Prosecutors say the activity happened at Jarrell’s house.

It’s always hard to judge these cases where the sex is with a female student.  We’ve long established that male teachers who bone girls are creeps and pedos who deserved to get Sanduskied repeatedly in the prison shower.  Lesbian Teacher Sex?  That’s more of a gray area, and I’m never really 100% sure where to draw the line.  I mean, if the teacher looks like say, Coach Bieste from “Glee,” I feel like the girl is a victim.  But if it’s more like a Julianne Moore-Amanda Seyfried in “Chloe” situation (NSFW), I think it should be treated more like your garden-variety female teacher/male student thing.  I guess where I draw the line is on the attractiveness and Lipstick-Lesbianness of the teacher in question.  And while Louise isn’t exactly 2009 SST Starting Lineup lesbian legend Helen “Jazz Lady” Goddard, she’s OK.  Besides, more than anything, Boston needs a return to normal.  I haven’t done a GtSST since before all hell broke loose.  And if we don’t get back to them, the terrorists will have won.

The Grades:
Looks: She’s a straight 5, which makes her a lesbian high school teacher 7.  Grade: B-
Moral Compass/Bad Judgment:  I don’t know… a female teacher taking a student back to her house for sex is all well and good.  But I need more.  Pictures. Videos. A wild “Where the Boys Aren’t”-like all-girl orgy in the locker room.  Something.  And what’s with those charges?  “Forcible sexual abuse” sounds like something done by a guy with a mustache in a windowless white van, not a 22 year old lesbo inviting a 17 year old over her house.  This one just kind of leaves me cold. Grade: C-
Intangibles: The good news for Louise is this doesn’t ruin her chances of coaching women’s college hoops or the WNBA. Grade: A
Overall: C+
