Footage Shows Ambushed Hero Cops Killing Walmart Shooter In Arizona

In April, policemen Joshua Pueblo and Daniel Colwell responded to a routine trespassing incident at a local Arizona Walmart. The trespasser, however, was using the call to lure in and ambush the cops. As they arrived, Mitchell Oakley unleashed a hail of bullets, hitting Pueblo in the face and Colwell twice, knocking him to the ground.

As Oakley fled, Colwell returned fire from the ground. Outside, Oakley dropped his gun and when he went back for it, was shot dead by Colwell.

Just wanted to take a second to highlight these two heroes. Imagine walking in for a routine stop while on the job and instead of cranking out some trespassing paperwork you’ve been lured into an ambush. Bullets are buzzing and you’ve been hit by god knows how many. Yet, in just a few seconds, you’re able to gather yourself, execute what you’ve been taught, and successfully return fire to subdue and ultimately kill the assailant before he gets away. Fuck yeah.

Far, far too often recently people jump to criticize and indict cops for every little thing. Or one cop commits some wrongdoing and all cops get painted with the same brush. The hate boils over and if you’re a cop, damn near half the country hates you.

Well this should serve as an excellent reminder that these guys are fucking AWESOME. We are after all a nation of laws — thank god these dudes are out there enforcing them.
