Ed Sheeran Playing The Fresh Prince Theme Song Is Hot, Hot Heat

The songbird of our generation (I must say that about 100 artist, but I really mean it this time) singing the theme song of our childhood? That’s a bop. Am I the only one who’s really impressed by this? On the one hand, Sheeran knew that goddamn thing like it’s tattooed inside of his eyelids. That’s impressive enough for an American, I can rap along with it but no way I could just rattle it off. For a Brit, though? That’s bananas. No way they had that shit “across the pond” when we were growing up. 10/10 performance. Very impressive.

As for the new Sheeran songs it goes

1. Castle on the Hill

2. Shape Of You

That order is actually reversed for these live versions, but I’m listing for the CDQ ones. “Shape Of You” has better lyrics, “Castle on the Hill” is the better anthem/banger song so it doesn’t really apply in this scenario. But the point stands. I’m not here to argue.
