Earl Thomas Says Tom Brady And The Patriots Have An Easy Route So They Should Try Playing In The NFC West

Hmmmmmmmmm……

Look, I’m not here to pretend that the AFC East is the class of the NFL. The Patriots beat the entire division’s brains in every single year. The Bills are the Bills, the Jets are the biggest joke franchise in NFL history, and the Dolphins are always a team to watch out for in the offseason and a bye week in the regular season. I’m not here to say that the Patriots have to fight a war to get out of the AFC East every year. But, Earl, buddy, pal… I’m not sure the NFC West is exactly the division that’s gonna put the fear of god into them. In fact, I’d say that currently the AFC East is pretty clearly the superior division. So maybe let’s relax the Twitter fingers and get back to wondering if you’re gonna retire or not because you broke your leg.

Also, love all the chirping that the Pats have received from teams that have either cleaned out their lockers or are in the process of doing so. Both the fans and the players on those teams. Victor Cruz and New York told me I don’t want the Giants. Raiders fans tell me that if they Derek Carr didn’t get hurt the Pats would be screwed. The Ravens are apparently always a team that scares Bill Belichick even though he dominates them. Would love to put all these theories to the test if any of you guys had the guts to show up to the fight. Everyone’s better than the Patriots except their season is over and the Pats are getting ready for their 6th straight AFC Championship game.

PS – Super Bowl didn’t count. Earl was the only player in the Super Bowl not playing 100% and was just trying to help his team, though it seems he hurt them. At least he played great in week 10 this year.
