David Ortiz Got A Bridge And A Street Named After Him

Brookline Ave Bridge will be renamed the David “Big Papi” Ortiz Bridge & the road to Yawkey Station will be named David Ortiz Drive.

I feel like my head is going to explode with so much sports going on right now. Big Papi’s last game going on at the same time as the Pats game. We got Gostkowski missing field goals and Papi getting entire neighborhoods named after him. I’m spotting dimes eating onions over here. And yes I think it’s safe to say you’ve had a decent career when you get a bridge and a street before you even have played your final game.

PS – If I were the Red Sox I would have waited to do this before the World Series clincher. But I guess there is a chance the Sox win it on the road.
