Brett Connolly Is Your New Boston Bruin Because Anytime You Can Land A Guy In This Kind Of Company You Have To Do It

Lot of chatter about this trade this morning. While you slept, Pete Chiarelli was making moves and obtaining Brett Connolly for two second round picks. Some people say the price was steep, others stupidly say “We basically traded Boychuk for Connolly! Terrible move!” Personally I think it’s a no-brainer. If a potentially prolific scorer from that draft class hits the market then you have to do whatever it takes to get your hands on him. You’d be a fool to not want him on your squad. So I love the move. Get Connolly some playing time with actual playmakers and watch the goals stack up.
