Bobby Valentine Makes Fun of Chicken & Beer Gate

I bear no grudge against Bobby Valentine.  He’s the same guy he always was.  You can no more ask him to quit being a buffoonish cartoon character than you can ask a bird not to fly or a fish not to swim.  My beef in the whole Bobby V fiasco has always been with Larry Lucchino, who ought to be held accountable for the fact that his once proud team that just five years ago was one of the model franchises in all of sports has been reduced to a punchline in a stupid Fantasy Baseball ad.  Hiring Valentine was all Lucchino’s idea.  He vetoed his own GM’s choice for this assclown, it blew up in everyone’s face like a trick cigar and he walked away from the explosion like he had nothing to do with it.  He does 20 interviews a week and no one ever gives him a “You’ve got to answer for Sonny, Carlo” moment ever.  Not even now that the club he runs is the laughingstock of the world.  That said, this commercial is pretty damned funny.   Bobby V can have a nice career as the butt of jokes.  Like a modern day Bob Uecker, if Ueck was hated by everybody.  Nice going, Larry.  @JerryThornton1
