Belichick Went Nuts At The Owners Meetings And Of Course He's 100 Percent Right

Serious question is it possible to be more right than Belichick was? The NFL is a multi-billion dollar company that regularly sends teams to England and this year might have the Pro Bowl in a country that’s never heard of the sport, but they can’t afford 4 extra Sonys per stadium? That’s “cost-prohibitive”? Come on. What it comes down to is the league is terrified of Bill Belichick. They’re scared he’s pulling the wool over their eyes before they even know what hit them. Belichick has a smart idea and everyone immediately shoots it down because they assume he’s thought of angles to make it work for his own team that they won’t think of for at least a decade. I mean COST-PROHIBITIVE?! That’s seriously your excuse? You’re the fucking NFL, literally nothing is cost-prohibitive. Just be honest and say, “Listen Bill that’s a fantastic idea but we’re scared you’ve already outsmarted us so we’re gonna say no. You know these meetings are to make rules that try and prevent you from winning, not help you. Now please, sit down, we’ve got to discuss the Julian Edelman and the ineligible receiver rules… oh are those directly related to your most recent Super Bowl run? Hm, hadn’t noticed.” At least if the owners said that they’d be honest. Cost fucking prohibitive. For the NFL. HA!
