I wasn’t there so I can’t speak with any certainty, but I’ve undoubtedly seen people killed by less than a stare of that magnitude. If we had a camera on whoever asked Bill what his emotions were while Gronk was on the turf then I’m quite positive we’d see that guy writing in pain and gasping for air while Belichick stared him down, a la Vader on the Death Star. That would explain why everyone else was scared to ask anything.
