Some people have begun to find the #BostonStrong theme overused and played out. They think it’s offensive to blend sports and tragedy like that. And in a way, I get that. But, no matter what way you slice it, the Boston Red Sox have been along for the ride since April 15th. The morning game at Fenway is a huge part of Marathon Monday and this team is a huge part of the city. They got their “B Strong” patches on right away and, like Gomes said, practically every game this season has honored the victims in one way or another. This team and the tragedy are connected, like it or not, and this video did an awesome job representing it.
