Anybody Who Complains That The Pats Didn't Look Good Beating Buffalo Is A Moron Of Epic Proportion

Does this look like a guy who cares about style points?

So I was driving home from Albany yesterday and got bored of music so I turned on 98.5. if I didn’t know any better I would have said the Pats lost by 50 to Buffalo on Sunday. Honestly it was surreal listening to Felger and Mazz. Doomsday city. They spent 9 hours talking about how shitty the Patriots are. Everything from whether the Patriots have let Tom Brady down by not surrounding him with better receivers to how awful their defense is. And then Felger and Mazz did what they do best. They basically said that beating the Bills doesn’t count because the Bills suck. And they already said that Thursday doesn’t count because the Jets suck. In other words the only games that count for the Patriots as legitimate wins are the AFC championship game and the Superbowl. That’s it. Everything else they don’t get credit for because the rest of the NFL sucks. It’s infuriating.

Bottomline is parity is king in the NFL. It is a league that strives for equality. It should theortically be just as easy for the Lions, Browns, Bills, Jets or anybody else to win the Superbowl as it is us. But despite that fact the Pats have been to 5 superbowls in 12 years, 7 AFC title games and 10 division titles. They’ve only missed the playoffs twice since 2001. If you throw out the year Brady got hurt that means Brady and the Pats have been to the Superbowl in half the seasons he’s been in the league. Before every season begins we know we have a 50% chance of being in the final game. If we don’t win it all than the entire season is viewed as a gigantic waste of time. We are left stunned and depressed and questioning the existence of god. Meanwhile other cities treat just making the playoffs like they won a world championship. Winning a regular season game is reason for a parade. Yet here we once again complaining about style points. It’s lunancy. A win is a win is a win in the NFL. I don’t care who you play or what the score is. All that matters is getting the W. And nobody does it better than the Pats. So stop fucking complaining and enjoy it while it still lasts.
