Andrew Benintendi Made The Catch Of The Year For The Red Sox Tonight

That catch brought back what would’ve been a two-run home run, and saved Price’s shutout in the eighth inning. Benintendi, now, is playing the role of what Jacoby Ellsbury played for the 2007 Red Sox. Came up from the minors, provided a spark for a team that desperately needed it, and he can impact the game in several different ways. With the win tonight, the Red Sox are 12-8 since Benintendi was called up, the sixth best record in the majors. They’re also back in a first place tie with the Toronto Blue Jays, the first time they’ve had at least a share of first place since July 21.
