I’m not mad. I want to be, but I’m not. I love A Rod this season. He’s without a doubt the most exciting thing going for the Yankees. If it weren’t for annoying fans on Twitter he’d be the only thing keeping the rivalry going. A Rod is a guy in a Yankee jersey who makes the Yankee front office pound the table and scream, “SON OF A BITCH!” every time he hits a home run. How can you not love the absurdity of that? I’m a Red Sox fan, so I guess I would’ve preferred he tied Willie Mays versus another team, but I’m also just a guy who wants to watch the world burn. And that’s what Alex Rodriguez is doing. Slowly setting fire to every uptight baseball purist with each swing of the bat. If you don’t enjoy watching that then I just don’t get you.

PS – Hanigan has been hit by about a million balls this year, and one finally did him in. Fractured knuckle, will need surgery, out for some time. Let the Blake Swihart era begin.
