Youth Baseball Coach Gives One Of The Greatest Pregame Speeches Of All-Time, Calls Players' Dads Who Don't Care About Winning 'Losers'

This is how you coach youth sports. Fuck the “everybody gets a trophy” generation. In real life, not everybody gets a trophy. Some of us win, and some of us lose. That’s real life. You have to instill that in the minds of today’s youth in order to prepare them for what’s about to slap them right in the mouth the second that they cross that stage at their high school graduation, assuming they even make it that far.

This coach is doing God’s work out here, preparing these children for what lies ahead. In this world, you have to be ruthless. The only person that’s looking out for you is you. Embrace competition. Enjoy the pain that your enemies feel after you defeat them, just as much as you enjoy the feeling of success following their defeat. These are the delicious nectars of life. That’s real world shit.

COACH: What’s one of our goals when we step on this field?

KID: To do your bestest.

COACH: Okay, not even close. Our goals are to hit dingers, disgrace the pitcher’s family, make the other players cry, and stomp their butts into the ground.

THAT right there is how you succeed in life. It’s not about just doing your bestest. You need to be better than your best. Every single day. That’s what it takes. You need to dominate at such a high level that it literally brings your competition to tears. The central focus is not about having fun. It’s about winning. You know what’s fun? Winning.

There are two types of people in this world. There’s winners, and there’s losers. Just so that we’re clear, every time that we step on this field, our goal is to be a winner. And if your dad has said, “Oh, it doesn’t matter whether you win or lose, just as long as you have fun,” I hate to say it, your dad’s a loser.

Don’t apologize for calling their dads a bunch of losers if they think that winning isn’t important. That’s a loser mentality, and they deserved to be called out for it.

By the way, at the very end of the video, that wasn’t a groan as if to say, “I can’t believe he actually said all that shit to a bunch of little kids.” Without question, she had an orgasm right then and there from watching one of the most powerful speeches in modern history.
