Wake Up With Barry Larkin Mic'd Up At The 1993 All Star Game With A Cameo By Michael Jordan

This video was a wild ride back in time. I’m a big Barry Larkin fan, always have been. Is it possible to be a Hall of Famer that’s also underrated at the same time? Because I feel like Larkin somehow accomplished that. I just feel like he doesn’t get mentioned enough with the all-time greats. Dude hit close to .300 with an OPS north of .800 over a 19-year career, and he would’ve won more Gold Gloves if Ozzie Smith wasn’t busy winning them over the first seven years of Larkin’s career. Anyway, I think it’s crazy to watch that video and then think of how hated Barry Bonds became. Greatest player of that generation — arguably of all-time — and he’s actually a pretty funny dude when he’s not being asked about tainting the most famous sports record in history. I don’t give a fuck, though. Still a Bonds Guy for life. Also, MJ should’ve buddied up with Bonds, and maybe he would’ve made it out of Birmingham.

PS — RIP Tony Gwynn and Ernie Banks. Two faces of their franchises forever missed.
