Things Are Going Well At Evergreen State College With Intimidation, Students Demanding No Homework, And Taking Over The Entire School
When last we left Evergreen State College in Washington, things were descending to madness after a controversy over changes to the school’s Day of Absence celebration. They confronted a teacher who chimed in with his opinions against the day’s exclusiveness and got cornered with demands he resign or be fired. Since that happened, some more videos of the school’s descent into madness:

And what you have here is one singular school embodying all of the last few years of hypersensitivity and coddling and protest culture and what it does to people’s minds. You’ve got teachers and administration looking like Stockholm Syndrome sufferers admitting fault for anything the students say just to keep things from descending into madness. You’ve got student groups admitting they cornered and confronted a teacher and the school is just sitting back and taking it. It’s wild. It makes me feel like an old man shaking his fist at a cloud but a big part of me wants to see the school just take these kids over their knee getting an old school spanking until they stop acting like such entitled little brats. Even if they have valid points somewhere in there, they’re too busy looking like kids having a tantrum to be taken seriously.
Also if we’re being honest, between all this and those dorks in the first video with their Limp Bizkit chalk and Green Day jokes, can you imagine any worse PR for college attendance since Missouri had all their issues? I’d rather go to a college where homeroom consists of someone beating my testicles with a rope like that torture scene in Casino Royale than spend a cent in tuition trying to learn amidst these idiots. The end of the semester couldn’t come soon enough.
