Some Day Care Left A Kid Out On In The Sun With No Sunscreen For A Day And HOLY SHIT This Is Why We Wear Sunscreen

Inquisitr – An Oklahoma day care is accused of leaving a boy outside in the hot sun all day without shade or sunscreen, causing the boy to suffer horrific burns.

The incident hit the internet this week after the boy’s aunt posted a picture of his badly burned and blistered back on Facebook. The post, made by Amanda Harvey, was sent to the local Fox affiliate in hopes of bringing attention to it.

While Harvey did not post proof that the boy’s burns were caused at day care, she did post that both the boy and his brother were left out and are now badly hurt.

“This is my nephew. He and his brother was left outside FRIDAY,” she wrote, naming the day care center. “No sunscreen. They are in so much pain. The eldest is a red head. Please follow up with this! Thank you.please share let this get out so the news takes this story and helps them babies. One is 7 the other is 5.”

The station reported that it was following up on the incident, but it has already gone viral on the internet. Pictures of the boy’s badly burned back were shared on Reddit, where the link garnered thousands of user votes and hundreds of angry comments.

I had to pixelate that one because I don’t know how disgusting it might be to you guys to see a child turned into a stegosaurus as a result of alleged neglect by a daycare but here’s the full version spaced down:

The clearly burnt skin is one thing but that Swiss ball blister he grew on his back is unreal. He’s like a genetic mutation at this point. I fully admit I don’t relate to the struggle of a poor little ginger kid in the sun given my people’s penchant for effortless tans as a result of being violated by the Moops but I know that if you’re of the paler persuasion even going outside for an hour without the highest sunblock can lead to problems. Burns or god forbid sun poisoning are just part of the territory for pale people, let alone a kid who seems about as gingery as you can get. And even worse it’s a little kid, not even like he was some bratty pre-teen who refused to listen. Your one job as a day care is to keep this kid safe and, if the story is legit, they couldn’t have botched that part any more clearly.

Also is there more disgusting in the world that a human body does than a blister? I know it exists to promote healing and whatever but seeing one is just the fucking worst. Can we all collectively agree to evolve in some Wolverine-level healing already so we don’t have to walk around with water balloons of puss like chumps forever?
