Nik Stauskas Breaks Up With Barstool Smokeshow Taylor from Toledo, She Cancels Prom Date With Some Poor Dork

Damn, always hate it when these Barstool couples break up. Michigan star/Big time Stoolie Nik Stauskas and former smokeshow Taylor from Toledo, a match made in heaven. I’m hurting right now too, feel like I was a part of their relationship, right there with them on the picnic blanket in the park, sitting in between them on the couch during movie night.

He’s an NBA player and she’s a total smoke so I’m sure they’ll both land on their feet. Know who won’t though?

It started as a fun joke, grew into an Internet sensation and Thursday will materialize into one of the biggest events in Woodhaven High School prom history. At least that was the way this popular story went until Monday.

Jaime Guerra, a Woodhaven senior, was planning to take a special date, Taylor Anderson, to the prom this week. Anderson is the girlfriend of Sacramento Kings guard Nik Stauskas — or at least she was.

School Principal Matthew Czajkowski said Monday that Guerra communicated with Stauskas Sunday night via Twitter and it appears the popular couple have broken up.

Guerra has been planning on the date with Anderson, who was going to be accompanied by Stauskas, since January.

“It doesn’t look good,” Czajkowski said. [News-Herald]

Not that he would have had sex with Taylor, just saying he’s probably a virgin. Feel like that’s a prerequisite for starting a Twitter retweet campaign for a prom date.
