Kmarko's NBA DraftKings Picks - December 1

kmarkoNBA

Welcome back to the daily DraftKings picks where we try to get super rich playing daily fantasy basketball. As usual I’ll do a brief recap of my lineups from the week before then throw out some picks that I’m brainstorming for this weekend, and hopefully get some good feedback/tips/picks from you guys either in the comment section or on Twitter @kmarkobarstool.

It’s December 1, officially a new month, let’s make it profitable. Time to start bringing the fire picks out.

Quick recap of last night – another mediocre optimal lineup.

Hit nicely with my big money guys, Durant and Drummond. I said 50 points or bust for Blake…so I guess we busted. Capela got the flames but faded big time in the second half and ended up with a disappointing 25.75. Had some good value plays with Felton and Beverly, but Marcus Morris and OJ Mayo underperformed.

Going for 300 points tonight, join me.

SF Lebron James $9.7K

9.7K for Lebron? He’s got the best SF matchup on the slate and he’s the best player in the game. I don’t care if it feels like the same trap as Blake at 9.1K last night, I’ll take some of that for my lineups. Projections have him at 59-60 points, I think a solid floor of 50 points is just fine with me for under 10K. Feel like Lebron is in one of those lulls…and a Lebron lull means 45 fantasy points a game…then all of a sudden he breaks out to remind everyone he’s the man. Hoping that tonight is that night against the Wiz.

If you want to spend up, but not on Lebron, you’re only other option is Anthony Davis – he’s expensive, hasn’t looked right yet this season, and is playing the Grizz…but all of that adds up to a great GPP play if you catch him on a 70 point night.

SG Eric Bledsoe $8.3K

The Suns are playing some big time fantasy ball this season and nobody is stepping it up more than Bledsoe. Yes Brandon Knight has thrown up some absolute monsters (and he’s a great play against tonight FYI, but is usually very very popular), but he also has some 25-30 point clunkers – Bledsoe has stayed a lot more consistent, and add in the fact he’s got a great 2 guard matchup with the Nets tonight, I think his upside is huge for tournaments.

Want a cheaper option? I don’t hate Kobe at all tonight – NOBODY rosters him because frankly he stinks this year, but if he ever had a chance of making a 40 fantasy point splash, it’s tonight vs the Sixers. Ok that’s a tough sell – Brad Beal has a great matchup with the Cavs for much cheaper than Bledsoe.

VALUE PLAY SF TJ Warren $4.5K

Used the throwback pic, I LOVED this dude at NC State and he’s bringing the thunder this year in the NBA. Like I said, Bledsoe and Knight are both in play, but Warren might be an even better option from the same squad when you consider the dirt cheap price. Of course, when you pay this little for someone, you got to be prepared for the inevitable 5 fantasy point disaster – it’s just the risk you run. But with the minutes Warren is getting and the 35-40 point upside he’s flashed, I love this spot for him tonight.

NOTES:

-Keep an eye on the Lillard injury – if he’s out, CJ McCollum becomes a huge play and Gerald Henderson becomes a min priced value consideration.

-Speaking of injuries – if Rubio is out, fire up Zach LaVine. Tyson Chandler is doubtful, which makes Alex Len a deeeeep punt play. Tyreke Evans is back, so watch how it affects the minutes of Ish and Eric Gordon.

-Couple of super volatile, risky guys that could either win you a tournament or let you down big time: Jordan Clarkson and Isaiah Canaan.

..

That’s it for me, good luck tonight. Tweet me @kmarkobarstool with your picks or to talk shit, whatever. Also if you’re depositing to play make sure to use my referral and we’ll both get hooked up with some stuff.
