Hero Dude Springs Into Action To Save A Dog Whose Leash Was Stuck In The Elevator Doors

Daily MailVideo has surfaced of the incredible moment a hotel manager in South Carolina saved a dog whose leash became snagged in an elevator that was about to go up.

The super-close call, which would have certainly killed the animal, occurred at the Roadway Inn in Greenville. The general manager, Ben Duke, was coming out of a storage area as one of his guests was getting on the elevator with his leashed dog.

Movies, TV shows, documentaries…can’t remember the last time I saw a sequence that stressful and intense.

Heroes come in different shapes and sizes, and today it’s in the form of a South Carolina Roadway Inn General Manager saving the life of Boo Boo the dog staring certain death right in the face. UNREAL reaction time.

‘The doors closed, and I guess he didn’t realize that his dog had wandered off,’ Duke told WYFF4.

‘I just grabbed it, and struggled with it, then I guess adrenaline set in or something, and I snapped the leash right above my hand,’ Duke said.

Duke later found out the dog’s name is Boo Boo. The owner came running down the stairs after the incident, fearing the worst.

He was crying and was so grateful’ Duke said. ‘He just came up and hugged me. It was pretty crazy.’

Duke said after the incident, he didn’t think much of what happened.

‘I was just reacting and doing what I was supposed to do in that situation,’ he said.

‘Everybody is calling me a hero, but I can’t imagine the other outcome.’

Clutch gene. Can’t teach that.
