Ezekiel Elliott Tackled A Fan On The Field At The Pro Bowl And I'm Disappointed He Didn't Make It Hurt

I get it’s the Pro Bowl, a low effort situation regardless, and generally Ezekiel Elliott seems like a good dude who’s all about having fun on the field instead of being a classic old school football dude who wants to kill everything across his path. But I was a little bummed seeing Zeke catch this guy on the field, gently place him down, then not making him pay the price when he did it again. It’s a fun family event in Orlando, I get maybe you don’t want to paralyze the guy after effortlessly catching him the first time. But when the fan broke away AGAIN thanks to security taking their sweet ass time, I think at that point you’ve got to make the dude pay the price. Instead, Zeke raced him for no real reason and ran the opposite direction rather than laying the wood like this kid was BEGGING for and deserved. He needed that lesson, we all needed that lesson: If you do that dumb shit even on a meaningless stage like the Pro Bowl, you’re getting jacked up like those old ESPN segments before the NFL started pretending it cares about CTE.

Anyway congrats Zeke on not putting some douche on a stretcher in an arena full of idiots who’d voluntarily spend the day watching the Pro Bowl and even more congrats for not suffering a meaningless injury in the process. Next time how about a little killer instinct next time when someone is disrespecting you right to your face? We’re trying to build something here, save the pillow fight tackles for the Cowboys’ secondary.
