Is there any sort of connection between Modern Family middle child Ariel Winter putting on a tour de force performance on Instagram and Donald Trump being elected the 45th President of the United States last Tuesday? Probably not. But you’ve got to read between the lines a little. A giant moment happens in our country that a lot of women and bags of milk who identify as women are upset about and everyone deals with things in different ways. Maybe Ariel Winter is asserting her womanhood in aggressive ways because she’s one of the people who thinks we’ve somehow supported misogyny through the election results, a nonviolent protest we could actually get behind. Or maybe she just had a great vacation and wanted to wear her most titful outfit to an event? Hard to say. But it’s much easier to go “Life in Trump’s America, huh” and move on from there.
