1. What’s the best thing about the South Shore?

Nicole - I'd say the best thing about the South Shore is all the beaches. Even Marina Bay itself makes the South Shore special and in my opinion gives it an advantage over the North Shore.

Amy - The best thing about the South Shore would have to be the beach.

2. What’s the biggest difference between the crowd at Waterworks and the crowd at a Boston bar?

Nicole - I think the crowd at Waterworks is friendlier and in general just a more active and fun crowd than you would find in Boston. Maybe it’s just the outside environment that puts people in a better mood. You can really experience summer nights.

Amy - At Waterworks people tend to hangout in big groups- it is definitely the kind of place that is more fun when you are with a lot of friends.

3. Compared to other bars do you think people hook up more or less at Waterworks and why?

Nicole - Hmmm that one's tough. I think maybe less but it’s hard to say. Usually people will come with a group of friends so they're not so concerned with meeting new people. Also people always want to hook up no matter where they are.

Amy - All I can say is that Waterworks does not seem like the place to meet your future husband or wife. I don't think people come here looking for that.

4. What’s the best pickup line you’ve ever heard at Waterworks?

Nicole - I hope this one is sarcastic because I don't think I've ever really heard a good pick up line. Guys will pretty much say anything, promise you the world if they think it will help them get a chance with you. One thing I think is funny when a couple is together and someone will come right up and still try to hit on one of them. Asking "hey does this guy make you happy cuz I’d love to."

Amy - I don't think I have ever heard a good pickup line but, I couldn't tell you how many terrible ones I've heard. Some of the funniest include: I want to take you to the beach and lay you on my blanket or Can I please have two beers and um first base with you? Or anything in a foreign language!

5. What’s the best and worst part about working at Waterworks?

Nicole - The best part about working at Waterworks is that it's just fun. I love being able to work outside, meet new people and make good money. The worst is that you do have to deal with the many creeps who think they're God's greatest gift.

Amy - The best part about working at Waterworks is being outside when it is nice out, not to mention the money is pretty fabulous too. The worst part about working there is that the weather dictates what kind of night we are going to have. And living in Boston, we can all agree that the weather here is crazy!
