Oh my GOD what a promo stomping on a man that's been essentially dead and buried in the NFL ranks for almost a decade. Desean Jackson and LeSean McCoy on a podcast together? In the year of our Lord 2024? Believe it. And now they're doing what a good majority of people in and around Philly would consider as God's Work: Bashing The Everliving Shit Out Of Chip Kelly.

Nate shut down the last one as he knows how to do the EIC thing (them clickbate views tho). But good gravy. It's been almost 10 freaking years since Chip Kelly reigned in South Philly. A decade. A Super Bowl victory and 2 been more coaches later (arguably could've been more). Yet here I am watching Jaccpot Records and Shady absolutely destroy Chip Kelly.
Remember the entire "Emotional Intelligence" stuff from Jeffrey Lurie after he canned Chip with a week to go
Kelly only saw the players as a piece in his system that was easily replaceable. When you are looked on as nothing more than a pawn in your master plan, players feel diminished. But after Chip, coming off two 10 win seasons, demanded full control by shoving Howie in a locker and completely botching the entire team, it's easy to look back a decade later with these takes. Winning covers a lot and the second the L's started to add up there was no place for Chip in the NFL. Even if he led St. Nick Foles to a season featuring 27 TD passes to 2 INT. What a stat.
Some may say the best revenge is living well. D-Jax and Shady say it's starting a podcast to hilariously drag their former head coach thru Internet hell. To each their own. But it's incredible to think if Riley Cooper doesn't drop this pass vs. the Saints in the 2014 playoffs the Eagles probably win that game and a batshit alternate history is written. Is DeSean let loose in the offseason? Does Shady get traded? Remember DeMarco Murray and Sam Bradford? It actually hurts the brain to think about the butterfly effect that occured from this one single play.
