Mintzy and White Sox Dave Put On A Legendary Eating Performance

Every team competing put on a great performance, but no duo was more dynamic than WSD and Mintzy. At every leg of the competition the pair did something to make me question how they are real people. Both of them wore air pods to blast music and block out the inner voices telling them to slow down. Unfortunately for Mintzy, whatever Wide Spread Panic live show he was listening to couldn't block out WSD yelling at him the entire competition. The scolding made me feel the same awkwardness you feel when you're staying with your friend, and their being scolded by a parent. But somehow, these two rose above it all to make it work.
There was even unrest between the two during final challenge after Mintzy admitted to taking performance dehancing drugs (adderall) before the eating competition. Eating is one of the few things you can't accomplish after taking an adderall, but some how Mintzy defied the laws of science. Whether it Mintzy's unbreakable determination to get things done, or WSD's Belichickian leadership - the two were able to consume an entire Portillo's feast before their competition was able unwrap their food. As the host of this portion of the show, I turned to go talk to the other team, and by the time I turned back around to talk to Mintzy and Dave ... there were only a few bites of food left. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Mintzy might not be able to cook a hot dog, but I would love to see Mintzy challenge Joey "Jaws" Chestnut for the 4th of July eating competition. If Mintzy can eat a hot dog like he eats a banana (pause), the competition is Mintz's to lose.
