Today's episode is with A.J. Brown, the Starkville native who “defected” and went to Ole Miss -- putting up ridiculous numbers in the 2017 Egg Bowl and crushing Brandon Walker's dreams. In this interview we talked about that performance and why he was supposed to "be the hometown hero" for Mississippi State but ended up at their #1 rival, how he became a four-star recruit overnight and ended up turning down Nick Saban, and why despite the fact he was a star baseball player (he was drafted by the Padres) he never really cared for the game.
